Snow Boots
For those of you who live in a places like Rossendale where its cold quite a lot, an actual snow boot will be an asset this winter. Two things to remember about snow boots: first of all, they aren’t always the cutest boots ever, and second, they usually cost a lot more than regular winter boots! or do they....?
Most of the following boots are totally waterproof and should be warm enough for whatever weather you come across. I love basic black snow boots (they don’t get dirty like white ones), with fur detailing for winter.

Welcome to the Clogs ont’ Cobbles, Bank Street, Rawtenstall, Rosssendale
Clogs ont’ Cobbles is in its second year and we are looking forward to this one being even better than last years!?
What is Clogs ont’ Cobbles?
Well it is not a group of people on bank street dancing in Clogs! It is Rawtenstalls very own Victorian Christmas event where for one Sunday only Bank street is closed off to traffic. There is the opportunity for small artist and craft sellers to take a stand and market their gifts to the public in time for Christmas. The shops and marekt traders will also open for the day. Mulled wine will also be served as we all know we will need it in late November in Rawtenstall.
In additon to those selling gifts there will be brass bands, carol singers, people dressed up, the coconutters and much more.
When is it? Sunday 28th November 2010
This years event is on Sunday 28th November and will coincide with the switching on of our Christmas lights. The day starts at 12 noon and runs through to 4pm when the Mayor will switch the towns lights on.
What’s On
With Christmas lights switch on, local food & craft producers market, entertainment, and children’s rides. There is also a competition for the best dressed victorian male and victorian female sponsored by issl.co.uk. The winners will each receive £50 of vouchers to be spent with participating stores on Bank Street.
